6-Day Ayahuasca Retreat Near Cancun, Mexico

9 Jan - 14 Jan 2027
1590 USD

Small Group • 2–6 Guests • Personal Support • Near Cancun

Welcome to a deeply personal healing journey in the peaceful Mayan jungle near Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, just 20–30 minutes from Cancun International Airport.

Our intimate 6-day / 5-night Ayahuasca retreat near Cancun is designed for those seeking a meaningful healing experience in a safe, supportive, and small-group environment.

At Healing Ceremonies Mexico, we combine sacred plant medicine ceremonies with Kundalini Yoga, meditation, breathwork, nature, and integration. Our intention is to create a grounded environment where you can step away from everyday life, reconnect with yourself, and give your process the time and attention it deserves.

Our retreats are intentionally limited to only 2–6 participants, allowing each guest to receive personal guidance, individual support, and the space needed for their own unique journey.

Unlike larger retreat centers, we don’t believe that more medicine automatically means deeper healing. We believe in the right experience at the right time, supported by careful preparation, integration, rest, and genuine human presence.

Sacred Medicines We Work With

Ayahuasca

A traditional Amazonian plant medicine served during guided ceremonies and approached with respect, preparation, and intention.

For many people, Ayahuasca can bring deeply personal experiences involving emotions, memories, relationships, patterns, self-reflection, and spiritual questions.

We don’t approach Ayahuasca as something that heals you by itself. The ceremony may open a door, but integration and the way you meet your life afterwards remain an essential part of the process.

Kambó

Kambó is a traditional Amazonian practice that we approach carefully and individually.

Participation is always optional and depends on health screening and individual suitability. We intentionally work gently and prioritize the participant’s physical condition and safety over intensity.

Los Niños Santos — Sacred Mushrooms

A guided daytime sacred mushroom experience held in a calm and supportive environment.

The experience creates space for introspection, emotional exploration, connection with nature, and personal insight.

Participation and timing may be adapted according to the individual process unfolding during the retreat.

Bufo Alvarius / Xanga

These medicines are never automatically given to every participant.

They may be offered only when considered appropriate following individual assessment, personal readiness, health considerations, and the way the participant’s process has unfolded during the retreat.

Participation is always optional.

Temazcal

A traditional Mayan sweat lodge ceremony held with heat, herbs, intention, and respect for the traditional practice.

Temazcal offers a space for grounding, reflection, connection with the body, and transition between the deeper stages of the retreat.

Kundalini Yoga, Meditation & Breathwork

Kundalini Yoga, meditation, and breathwork are woven throughout the retreat to support body awareness, presence, grounding, and integration.

These practices are not about achieving a particular state. They are an invitation to return to the body, the breath, and the present moment.

Safety & Preparation

Your safety and well-being are our highest priority.

Before confirming your participation, every guest completes a confidential health questionnaire to ensure the retreat is appropriate and safe.

Certain medications—including SSRIs, SNRIs, and some psychiatric medications—are not compatible with Ayahuasca and require proper preparation beforehand.

Please read our Preparation Guide before booking to learn about dietary recommendations, medication restrictions, and how to prepare for your retreat.

Our Approach to Healing

We don’t believe healing is measured by how many medicines you take or how extraordinary an experience becomes.

Sometimes the deepest part of the journey happens in ceremony.

Sometimes it happens the following morning in silence.

And sometimes it begins only after you return home and start meeting your everyday life differently.

Our role is not to heal you.

Our role is to create a safe, respectful, and compassionate space where you can listen more deeply to yourself, explore what the medicines may reveal, and begin carrying those insights into your life.

The medicine may open the door. You are the one who walks through it.
